The business decides
Your booking is with the business, and so is your refund. Each business sets its own cancellation policy, shown before you confirm a booking and on your booking page. VECINTI provides the booking tools and processes the refunds a business issues. It does not issue refunds itself.
If the business cancels
The business chooses what comes back. Most refund the full online payment. You are emailed either way, and the email says what was refunded.
If you cancel
Cancel from your booking page, or from Bookings in the app. Whether anything paid online comes back depends on the business's policy. If you expect a refund and have not seen one, contact the business. Its details are on your booking page.
Paid at the venue
Cash or card paid in person is handed back by the business. It records the refund, and your receipt shows it.
Where the money goes
Online refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days. If a VECINTI booking fee was part of what you paid, the matching part of it is refunded with it, so a full refund returns everything you paid.
If something is wrong
Contact the business first. If you cannot resolve it together, you can dispute the charge with your bank. Stripe and the business then handle the dispute under Stripe's rules.
